Step by step

Technique

Totally different from any other traditional printing technique, our production is very effective in reproduction of colour ranges.

What distinguishes our work is the use of special paints formulated for paper and technical use. During our production, each colour is matched individually, combining the use of advanced reading tools and our colourists’ unparalleled experience in colour formulation. This allows us to reproduce an almost infinite range of colours and effects, with absolute colour fidelity.

Working method
"WHAT SHOULD I KNOW TO CREATE MY MARKETING TOOL?"

The process starts with a briefing with one of our project managers, in order to establish the main characteristics of the project, both at a technical and communicative level. The key features will be at least the number and type of colours, the graphic format and the number of samples that meet your market needs.

You can also take advantage of Matherson’s creative ideas and even request a full graphic study ad hoc.

Matherson prepares a quotation for the required item, most often calculating various quantities in order to allow you to find the most cost-effective quantity to produce. Costing takes into account all materials, labour and techniques used for any given project as well as packaging and transportation. The calculation process is very detailed and every component has an effect on the final project cost.

Once an order is placed, Matherson assign a job reference number to the project and the production can start. This reference number identifies the instructions in the factory and follows the items right up to the invoice and shipping documents.

OUR OWN PRODUCTION PROCESS
INCLUDES DIFFERENT STEPS:
Creative briefing with our project managers
Paint production with high precision colour matching
Several application techniques
Offset or screen printing
Converting processes and packaging

All original products that cannot be colour matched are professionally applied to the most suitable support and transformed into samples.
